Apple Days
Apple Day is our most important Fundraiser of the year. We give away apples. People may give us a donation.
Apple Day is scheduled for
- Saturday, October 4, 8 am - 1 pm
- Sunday, October 5, 8 am - 1 pm
- Saturday, October 11, 8 am - 1 pm
We have two locations to choose from:
- Tim Hortons - Bank St. / Blossom Park (across from Giant Tiger)
- Tim Hortons - Hunt Club & Lorry Greenberg
Apple Day is the traditional fundraising event that started right here in Canada! Through Apple Day youth receive donations from the public and present an apple in appreciation. Each Group has a designated area to canvass including neighbourhood stores and other traveled areas.
Our Goal for our Group is $3,000. Money raised during Apple Days go to our Scouting program help to pay for the rental of meeting locations, operating costs for camp (camp sites, propane, camp supplies, etc.), Leader Training, our Web Page account, our Flickr account, and administrative and craft supplies and so much more.
Spread the word!
Thank you for supporting your local Scouts Group.
